Amuntai, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of North Hulu Sungai (HSU) H Abdul Wahid HK received an award from the South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor as the most innnovative district in lowering stunting.
Wahid also gained the appreciation for the HSU was assessed the second best in the assessment of the implementing of convergence interventions of integrated stunting in South Kalimantan 2019.
The Governor handed over both the appreciation to the HSU regent at the 2019 Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads Across South Kalimantan at the DR H Idham Khalid Building in Banjarbaru, Thursday.
"The achievement are achieved thanks to the cooperation of all parties, until the stunting can be lowered soon," Wahid remarked in Banjarbaru.

He acknowledged that HSU has experienced the highest number of stunting in 2013, but with the commitment of the district government and with support and working together with all working units (SKPD) as well as residents participation the lowering number could be done quickly.

The appreciation was submitted along with the delivering of placards from the Directorate General of Treasury of Finance Ministry for the provincial, districts and cities government winning the highest grade, unqualified opinion (WTP) over their financial report.

"I hope this performance remain to be maintained and improved to support the government program in the handling of stunting," the governor stated.
