Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Head of the North Hulu Sungai (HSU) National Land Agency (BPN) Suhami denied that the agency deliberately withdrew land certificates those had been distributed to the community through a complete systematic land registration program or PTSL.

"The issue of withdrawal of land certificates as long as we know is because the issuance of certificates apparently on the land owned by the regional or provincial government, thus the issuance must be re-evacuated before it becomes a legal problem that is detrimental to society and the government," Suhaimi said here on Thursday.

He said, the issues circulating on social media might occur in other areas, but it did not rule out the possibility that the community also suspected this was happening in HSU.

He said, the BPN here is trying to make the policy of withdrawing land certificates such as not to occur in HSU District.

He said the HSU BPN officer would ensure that the land object whose certificate was proposed to the National Land Agency was confirmed not to be on the local government's assets, till there would be no certificate withdrawn.

"Alhamdulillah at HSU it went smoothly, all the certificates distributed were well received and kept by the landowners ... There was no withdrawal by anyone against the certificates that had been distributed to the public," he said.

Suhaimi said that the HSU BPN had distributed 3,500 fields out of 4,910 land certificates issued.
