Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Residents of Kampung Melayu, Barabai, Saperiansyah (41) once again became the first winner of the appropriate technology (TTG) competition held by Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District. He created an electric mini conveyor.


With his creativity, he received an award and IDR 8 million in cash from the local government. The prizes were handed over by Secretary of District H. Akhmad Tamzil at the Regent HST Office on Monday (17/12).

The Head of Capital Investment Agency (PMD) Subhani, who managed the competition, said the previous year Saperiansyah, who worked as a mechanic in his workshop, also won first place by creating a skewer (tusuk sate) machine.

For this achievement, Saperiansyah will again represent the HST at the provincial level competition in South Kalimantan. He was asked to improve his creation so that it is worthy to compete at the provincial level.

Meanwhile, the second winner was won by Mar'atuzzahidah which featured kolang-kaling (sugar palm fruit) processed into alternative snacks. She won a prize of IDR 4 million. Third place winner Ahyadi was presented a salt maker and got IDR 2 million in cash.

The first hope winner, Titi Herawati, with a simple hydroponic device in vegetable bottles, reduces the negative impact of soil pollution and is environmentally friendly. Nani Jaya as second hope with local microorganism (Moll) biological liquid fertilizer. Each of them received IDR 2 million in coaching money.

"Through this technology innovation competition, it can stimulate and capture creative and innovative ideas of the community and support the development of the local economy through the discovery of technology based on local wisdom and regional potential according to the needs of the community," said Tamzil.
