Ternate, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor, after winning the Satyalancana of Cooperative and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) award from President Joko Widodo on July 12, 2018, again won national achievements.
Together with prominent figures in the country, including Sri Mulyani (Minister of Finance), Basuki Hadimuljono (PUPR Minister), General Tito Karnavian (National Police Chief), TNI Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto (TNI Commander), Governor H Sahbirin Noor scheduled for Saturday night to coincide with the 2018 National Sports Day (Haornas) receives a state award through the Sport Minister Imam Nahrawi.
Dr. Adisujatno, SH, MH, the 2018 Haornas Award Recipient Selection Committee, Sunday (9/9) afternoon, said the country's consideration of giving the 2018 National Awards to them was because they had high concern in the efforts to promote sports at the regional and national levels.
Adisujatno said H Sahbirin Noor (popularly called Uncle Birin) was the only governor in Indonesia who received an award as a figure for sports coaching. He was considered to give high attention to national-level sports activities, such as successfully holding the 2017 National Recreation Sports Week (Pornas).
"He also has an extraordinary commitment in the effort to allocate regional budgets to progress and improve sports achievements in the region and support national sporting events," he explained.
Other names that will receive awards from the government are Syarifuddin (CDM Asian Games 2018), Erick Thohir (Chair of Inasgoc), Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin (Musi Banyuasin Regent), H Dadang M Naser (Regent of Bandung), Burhan Abdurahman (Mayor of Ternate )
