Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Acting Director of the Office of Democratic Resilience and Governance of USAID Indonesia Ancders Mantius expressed his appreciation for the activities of going down to the village (turdes) that Uncle Birin (the nickname of Governor South Kalimantan popularly known) often did.
Anders is also proud to be able to help develop complaints and aspiration services through the "Lapor Paman" (Report Uncle) application.
He conveyed this when South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor received a visit from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for Indonesia in his office in Banjarbaru, Tuesday (9/4).
The arrival of the USAID Indonesia group was to provide support in the form of assistance to the South Kalimantan Provincial Government in strengthening public complaints services through the Lapor Paman application.
Anders also expressed his pride and warm welcome from the Provincial Government and the people of South Kalimantan.
He was also amazed by the policy steps of the governor, such as concern for the environment through the green revolution program,
Uncle Birin's program goes down to the village to pick up the aspirations of the people, the tourism potential that continues to be developed, and the international adventure trail will be held.
The Governor welcomed USAID and its support for the development of the Lapor Paman application.
"Ia am not only waiting for reports or aspirations from the community through the application provided, but I go down to villages, especially remote villages, to see first hand the conditions of the people and then listen to whatever their aspirations or complaints are," he said.
