Rantau, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tapin Police have busted an interdistrict drug dealer and confiscated tens of crystal meth (sabu-sabu) packages and some ecstasy pills.
"He was caught while on drug transaction at Tungkap bypass, Binuang Subdistrict, Wednesday (4/4)," said police chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Bagus Suseno, who was accompanied by Drug Detective Unit Head Adj Comr (AKP) Juwarto, in Rantau, Thursday.
He remarked that A (30), a Banjar resident, is a dealer as well as a bookie, who obtained the drug from other district and dealing drug one to other districts in the province.
AKB Juwarto told reporters, 31 small packages of sabu-sabu the police have confiscated were stored in supplement drink bottles and hidden in underbrush in a rubber plantation.
29 packages of which weighed 1 gram each and two other weighed 2,5 gram each. All were ready to sell.
"Other evidence seized from him are nine ecstasy pills and a cash of Rp5 million allegedly from a drug sale," said drug detective head.
Meanwhile, A confessed that he got the illicit good from someone in Banjarmasin with the help of an inmate in Karang Intan Drug Prison, Martapura, as his middleman. He was known as Uncle Banjarbaru
He told he has been about two-year selling sabu-sabu. Most of his buyers are truck drivers from companies in the district.
