Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Members of the South Kalimantan Legislative Council (DPRD) went to the Ministry of Home Affairs to consult about the coastal areas and small islands (ZWP3K) in the province.
"Before discussing further ZWP3K draft regulation in South Kalimantan, we first need to consult with the ministry," said Special Committee Chairman of the draft regulation Suwardi Sarlan here on Monday.
"Consultation with the Ministry is to facilitate or smooth the discussion of the Bill on ZWP3K," he said before departing to Jakarta when answering AntaranewsKalsel.
"Our experience so far, many draft regulation in South Kalimantan, which we have finished the discussion cannot be validated because the evaluation result or facilitation from the ministry we have not received," he said.
South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor previously stated that his provincial government will pay attention to the harmony of ZWP3K in 2018-2038.
The ZWP3K draft regulation contains WP3K (the coastal areas and small islands) management and licensing arrangements that will provide certainty in the development of coastal areas, thereby increasing community revenues.
Related to the five districts in South Kalimantan that have coastal and small islands, according to him, the Provincial Government requires coordinating synergistically in order to optimally efforts of coastal resources and small islands development.
"All these activities still pay attention to the harmony of the environment and the division of district government authorities in the management of WP3K in order to avoid overlapping existing arrangements or the implementation of different regulations" said Sahbirin.
