Rantau, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tapin, South Kalimantan, police finally caught the perpetrator of theft by breaking the car glass that occurred in the Central Tapin some time ago.

Tapin Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Bagus Suseno through Head of Special Crime Detective Adj Comr (AKP) Gita Suhandi Ahmad said the perpetrator D (28), the resident of Kandangan, South Hulu Sungai, was secured by joint team of Tapin Mobile Detective and Central Tapin Sector Police on Monday (8/1) in Rantau.

"The perpetrator was caught when lurking new victims in one minimarket in front of Bank Mandiri in Rantau," he said.

Previously, the perpetrator stole money Rp100 million by breaking the left glass of a car belonging to Faturrahman, Hatungun Subdistrict resident, Tapin, on Thursday (16/11/17) in Pemantang Karangan Hilir Village, Central Tapin.

"The alleged perpetrators trailed after the victim by motorcycle after taking money in Bank Mandiri," said Head of Crime Detective.

The perpetrator also performed the same action in front of PLN Rantau Office, but failed to bring the money that had been taken in a car that was parked at the side of the road.

"As evidence we secured one hammer, one t-shirt, and a white matic motorcycle with police number DA 6379 DC," he said again.

He added that the perpetrator is subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of seven years imprisonment.
