The Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) of the Kotabaru Office in  South Kalimantan in collaboration with Teacher Preneur held a "How to be a great teacher" national seminar and attended by 800 teacher from across Kotabaru.

Deputy Regent of Kotabaru  Syairi Mukhlis welcomed Syafii Efendi, President of OIC Youth Indonesia International Certified Coach, and expressed his appreciation for his visit to Kotabaru's "Land of Saijaan" . 

"In the fast-paced and changing era, teachers are required nont only to master material, but also to build emotional connections, instilling national values and encouraging students' creativity," he said here, Monday.

Great teachers, he continued, are those who can touch heart, inspire enthusiasm, ignite the fire of ambition in our children.

”I hope this activity will not only be a forum of knowledge sharing, but also a space for reflection and motivation for teachers to continue to learn, to innovate and to inspire,” he emphasized.

Head of the Kotabaru Office of the Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) H Ahmad Kamal thanked all participants for attending the seminar. 

”With this seminar, teachers (are expected) to inspire, give their sincere dedication to their students later. To the regional government for their extraordinary support of this activity, to enable the district to become Kotabaru HEBAT (Harmonious, Energic, United, Trustworthy and Resilient),” he said.

Meanwhile, the national seminar was held in collaboration between Teacher Preneur and the Kotabaru Kemenag, to improve the quality and competence of teachers so as to be inspiring, creative, and character-based educators.
