The Task Force of the 123rd TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) of the 1004/Kotabaru District Military Command (Kodim), South Kalimantan, conducted free nutritious meal (MBG) trial for elementary schools in Talusi Village, Pamukan Selatan Sub-district.

Commander of the Task Force Lt. Col. Inf. Bayu Oktavianto Sudibyo said the trial aims to improve the quality of nutrition and health of children in Talusi Village.

"We hope this activity can help improve the quality of nutrition and health of children in Talusi Village," he said, Friday.

The free nutritious meal trial were held at two public elementary schools, SDN Talusi and SDN 3 Gunung Calang, Pamukan Selatan Sub-district. 

The task force provided nutritious food, including rice, vegetable, and fruit, as well as explanation of the importance of nutrition and health for children.

The student welcome the MBG trial and hope it could help improve their nutrition and health.

"We are happy to take part in this free nutritious meal trial. We hope this activity will help improve the quality of our nutrition and health," said one of the students.

The free nutritious meal or MBG trial was one of the programs of 123rd TMMD which aims to improve the quality of life of Talusi Village residents and increase public awareness about the importance of nutrition and health.
