Acting Governor of South Kalimantan Muhidin has instructed all heads of the government working units (SKPD) not to complicate permits applications and work more optimally.
"During my leadership, permits must be made easier,” said Muhidin in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
Muhidin made his remarks at the 2024 public service compliance awarding to regional government, police, and service offices held by South Kalimantan Representative of Indonesian Ombudsman in Banjarmasin, Wednesday (Dec 11, 2024).
The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan was in the green zone for the level of public service compliance with a score of 94.48 that it enter the top 10 national in 2024.
Muhidin expressed his gratitude to the Ombudsman regarding the assessment.

The governor candidate, who won the most votes in the 2024 regional head election, remains open minded accepting all direction and input for improving quality of services in various sectors.
The Provincial Government, he said, is committed to keep improving public services and supporting every effort to create better public services.
He hopes that the awards have just received to motivate all the recipients to continue to improve public services.
“Let us work together, embrace together for a better South Kalimantan,” he invited.
Head of South Kalimantan Ombudsman Hadi Rahman said that the assesssment is expected to have a qualitative impact and be felt by the community.
Besides South Kalimantan Provincial Government in the top 10, Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) District was the first local government to be locumed for two consecutive years, and there was a highest score in the Kotabaru government.
Tanah Laut Land Office received the highest resume score of 9.57 from 135 loci assessed. Meanwhile, all police station (polres) in South Kalimantan received score above 90 points.
This good results, said Rahman, is not a quick result, but through a long process and a lot of efforts, plus the role of regional heads and other related elements.
“This assessment is also a challange for us, because people's expectations are so high for the public services provided,” he said.
