The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan won an A predicate for the government agency performance accountability system (SAKIP) from the State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN-RB).

PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas handed over the award, which is the fifth times in a row won by South Kalimantan, to the Head of the Provincial Organization Bureau Galuh Tantri Narindra who represented Governor Sahbirin Noor at the SAKIP Award 2024 event in Jakarta, Wednesday.

"Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for the achievement of the award given by PAN-RB Ministry. Especially that SAKIP 2024 is the fifth that South Kalimantan has received," said Galuh, when was confirmed from Banjarmasin, Wednesday.

SAKIP Award is a form of strengthening synergy, realizing accountability for Advanced Indonesia, which is the final part of a series  of accountability evaluation processes for the performance of government agencies in the regional government.

Galuh said that the A predicate from PAN-RB Ministry was the results of hard work and synergy of all the South Kalimantan Provincial Government working units (SKPD) and commitment from leadership to show the best performance regarding government governance.

In addition to South Kalimantan, PAN-RB Ministry also confered SAKIP award to West Java, East Java, Central Java, and Jakarta with satisfactory or A predicate.

Galuh said that South Kalimantan is proud because not all regional governments in Indonesia received an A or satisfactory grade from the central government.

"This award is the most prestigious award regarding governance," said Galuh.
