The success of PTSL program run by the Ministry of ATR/BPN received appreciation from World Bank.

ATR Minister/Head of BPN AHY was then invited to attend the World Bank Land Conference 2024 in Washington DC, United States, on May 13, 2024.

He was invited to describe land registration in Indonesia, which was considered an achievement, because it exceeded expectation.

“We are not perfect, but became a comparation in Washington DC. After attending the World Bank event, I had a side meeting with the Head of Dutch Land Agency, exchanging experiences," said AHY.

AHY said that Dutch Land Agency is the most advanced in the world by recording data on 8 million plots of land.

"Indeed, the spectrum of problems we have is much more complex, but Alhamdulillah (thank God) because we can do this progressively, we get awards,” said Minister AHY.

Along with the increase in the number of registered land during Minister AHY's 100 working days, 20 districts/cities were declared complete, bringing the total number of "Complete Districts/Cities" to 33.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN is targeting 104 complete districts/cities throughout Indonesia.

“The cities and districts are given the complete status, because all plots of land have been mapped and recorded," said AHY.

According to him, this status is very necessary for the regional government to take policies related to land and spatial planning.
