The District Government of Tabalong, South Kalimantan, is collaborating with the Banjarmasin Public Polytechnic (Poliban) in Smart City Program strengthening and students placement.
Tabalong Regent H Anang Syakhfiani said that this cooperation is a necessity to bring benefits to both parties.
"This cooperation is expected to support acceleration development in Tabalong as a buffer zone for IKN (the new national capital) and Smart City," Anang expounded here, Friday.
Head of Tabalong Communication and Informatics Office Arianto said that through this cooperation Poliban will help research, planning, acceleration and development of Smart City program.
The cooperation, said Poliban Director Joni Riadi, is a form of collaboration to support Tri Dharma (three mission of universities) as well as development of Electronic-based Governance System (SPBE).
He explained that later his party would conduct a study on SPBE with the local government.
"In addition to developing the SPBE architechture we are also collaborating in improving quality of human resources," said Joni.
The signing of cooperation by Regent H Anang Syakhfiani and Director of Poliban Joni Riadi was witnessed by Head of Poliban's SIKC Program Subandi and the team.
