Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani invited children to like easting fish. He said getting the children into the habit of consuming fish is one solution to preventing stunting.
"We continue to intensify efforts to reduce stunting rate and this fish eating movement is one of solution to prevent cases of growth and develoment failure in children," Anang said in consuming fish movement which was attended by dozens of students of SD Islam Terpadu (Integrated Islamic Elementary School) of An Nahl Tabalong.
Anang chosed An Nahl as a pilot school for fish consuming movement in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, which was organized by Food Security, Fisheries, Food Crops and Horticulture Office.

The fish consuming movement for a healthy and intelligent generation was marked by providing various processed fish foods by Chairwoman of the Tabalong Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP-PKK) Hj Syarifah Syifa Anang Syakhfiani to the students.
One of the recipient was the first grade student Rifqoh Najiha Karimah, who is also the grandchild of the Regent of Tabalong.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Ashabul Kahfi Foundation H Murjani said as the organizer of SD Islam Terpadu An Nahl his sides involved a team of nutritionists in providing daily menu for students. Pre-noo snacks and lunch menu are prepared for 655 students.
"We have nutritioal quality team to prepare food menu for students and processed fish is one of the menu choices at the school," said Murjani.
As an integrated Islamic school, his sides also equip students with Islamic religious education, morals and manners to form an Islamic future generation.
