Three divisions of robotic team of the Banjarmasin State Polytechnic (Poliban), Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, will compete at the national level in the 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) held on June 21-26 at the Semarang State University.
 
Poliban Director Joni Riadi here on Monday (June 12, 2023) expressed his appreciation for the work and achievement made by the students in robotic team for they have qualified for the national event.
 
Poliban actually fielded four division in the KRI 2023 selection on May 30-31 at Semarang State University, central Java, which was held online.

Some 72 universities took part in the selection for region 1, while Poliban's four division that participated were Indonesian Ash Robot Contest (KRAI), Indonesian SAR Robot Contest (KRSRI), Indonesian Wheeled Fotball Robot Contest (KRSBI-B), and Indonesian Thematic Robot Contest (KRTMI).

Poliban succeeded in passing three divisions, namely  KRSRI Division from Kabibitax Team, KRAI Division from Kayubi Team, and KRTMI Division from Justice Team.
 
"Hopefully our robotic team will make achievements (at KRI)," he said.

Chair of Poliban 2023 Robotics Atra Wenanda said the success of robotic team cannot be separated from the hard efforts of every division to present the best to get to national level.
 
"Also support from coaches and senior members of Poliban robotic who are alumni," he said.
 
He expressed pride in the team's achievement because it raise the name of the campus to the national level.
 
If you take a closer look at the struggle of the Poliban robotic, he expounded, each division has a level of difficulty and the length of time of making the robot differently.
