The Antasari State Islamic University (UIN) Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, and the Saudi Arabia's Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge (CRIK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on research and publication.
"(Our) cooperation is in research and scientific publication," said UIN Antasari Rector Prof. H Mujiburahman MA in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
During the signing of MoU virtually via Zoom on January 10, 2022, Prof Mujiburahman was accompanied by Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr Irfan Noor M.Hum, and Director of Postgraduate Prof H. Zulfa Jamalie, M.Pd.
Also attending Deputy Director of Postgraduate Dr Rusydi S.Fil.I, M.Ag, and Sub-coordinator for Cooperation Rahimah S.Ag, and Chairman of Postgraduate Arabic Language Eduation Study Program Faisal Mubarak LC, MA.
From Saudi Arabian Research Center, the Director of CRIK Dr Yahya bin Junaidi. The signing ceremony was guided by the Saudi Research Center's Mustyasar Dr Ali Ma’yuf.
"We thank you this MoU signing and our campus is very welcome to external cooperation, especially with the Arab Saudi Research Center," said Prof. Mujiburahman.
Moreover this collaboration, he continued, in scientific publication and collaborative research, visiting lecturer, collecting and researching manuscripts and holding international conferences.
Mujiburrahman hopes this collaboration will increase the high and strong bond of Islamic brotherhood between two strong countries, the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Dr Yahya Bin Junaid said he was very happy with the MoU. He expressed his desire to send professionals to study Indonesian language and culture at di UIN Antasari.
They also want to cooperate further in transating Indonesian works into Arabic.
