South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H Achmad Fikry presented the district's flagship innovation "One NIK" in the 2021 virtual Innovative Government Award (IGA) organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

One identity card number (Satu NIK), he said, is a new innovation of one integrated web-based data presented at the sub-district and village level, by a name and by address, thus the data can be presented.

"We hope that One NIK can be used as a guide for other regional government program targets so that the implementation of development can be innovative and collaborative," he said in a presentation from the Media Center of the HSS Administration, Wednesday (Nov 24, 2021).

HSS is rated as one of the most innovative districts based on the assessment of the ministry. HSS is one of the nominees for the 2021 IGA award. 

HSS Regent was asked to present the regional innovation that has been implemented by HSS District Government to the assessment team and became one of the regional heads whose innovation entered the top 12 nominations for 2021  IGA.

Of the 158 innovations reported to the Ministry of Home Affairs system, eight were pilots and 150 were implementations. 55 innovations of which are digital, one of which is One NIK from HSS.

In his presentation, HSS Regent was accompanied by Regional Secretary H. Muhammad Noor and several heads of the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations.
