Barabai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The government of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) will continue the program of night must learning hours for all students in the area to improve their performance.


HST Regent Harun Nurasid here on Monday said, thanks to the program the quality of high school graduation this year quite encouraging.

"Our protege were able to achieve the best performance, ranked first in high school, high five ranked in junior, and ranked third for elementry all throughout South Kalimantan," he said.
 
These achievements, he said, became a pride and must be thankful for by all-parties that the students of HST could prove capable of competing with other regions.

So, he said, local governments keep committed to improving the quality of human resources through various programs that have been implemented, including night hours of compulsory learning for students and parents.

The program previously had been applied at the time of national exams, and it turned out very helpful for students to get the best value.

"The program aims children are directed by parents to study at night and do not watch TV or play cellphone and others," he said.

In addition, the Regent also said, the students as the future generation should also be directed to study religion, diligently reading Al-Quran and so on to build their characters./edited in English by Mahdani
