Blood type A 7 bags, blood group B 11 bags, blood group O 8 bags, and blood group AB 3 bags.
"It's still a little, but enough to help reduce the queue of the demand," he said.
According to dr Rama, his nickname, the demand for convalescent plasma blood is very high in Banjarmasin, so the stock is not sufficient.
Until today, he said, the demand for convalescent plasma reached 246 bags. The details are blood type A 44 bags, blood type B 68, blood type O 119, and blood type AB 15.
To meet the high demand, his party asked for assistance from another PMI UDD. "Please pray that our production can meet the need and get a lot of help from other PMI UDD," he said.
Previously, PMI Banjarmasin contacted people who had recovered from COVID-19 to get plasma blood donors. In addition, it disseminates information on the need for plasma blood through social media.
Dr. Rama said that people who had been exposed to COVID-19 then recovered could donate their blood to help other patients.
The donor must be over 18 to 60 years old, minimum weight 55 kg, preferably male. If a woman must never have been pregnant.
Furthermore, has been confirmed positive for COVID-19 with evidence of laboratory results, has no remain symptoms at least 14 days before blood donation, and received no transfusion for the last 3 months.
