The University of Lambung Mangkurat's Faculty of Medicine (FK-ULM) has administered one thousand vaccine shots to 1,000 residents of Banjarmasin in a mass vaccination at the Sultan Suriansyah Building.
ULM collaborated with the South Kalimantan Police's Medical and Health Division (Bid-Dokkes) in the implementation of the second dose of vaccine. The first dose of vaccination was previously held on June 21, 2021.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FK-ULM concurrently Coordinator of Mass Vaccination dr. Istiana, M.Kes said there were 900 participants enrolled in the second dose of the vaccination program and about 100 people who registered for the first dose of vaccine.
In addition, 300 people from postgraduate civitas. The mass vaccination was held for students, educators, lecturers, and the public.

“It is hoped that this will support the government's program to create herd immunity against COVID-19 and to support the preparation of face-to-face learning next semester,” said dr. Istiana.
Head of Bid-Dokkes of South Kalimantan Police Sr Comr dr. Ubaidillah expressed his gratitude to ULM for assisting the implementation of mass vaccination for the people of South Kalimantan.
