The demonstration plot of the Kintap Community Development and Training Center (Demplot Simantap) which is fostered by PT Arutmin Site Kintap, Tanah Laut District, has again produced a harvest of watermelons.
This is the second harvest with Sidodadi Farmers Group (Poktan) in Sumberjaya Village, Kintap Sub-district, on a 1.5 hectare land with a yield of approximately 13 tons, Wednesday (9/6).
"The Sidodadi farmers' group has collaborated with PT Arutmin Site Kintap since 2017," said its chief Supratman.
He thanked PT Arutmin Site Kintap for assisting and facilitating the land to be managed and planted.

Arutmin, he said, through Kintap Mandiri Sejahtera Cooperative (Kokimantera) has helped finance with a profit-sharing mechanism that benefits farmers.
Arutmin Site Kintap Manager Lutfi Qolbirokhim said hopefully the harvest will be a blessing and benefit the big family of Poktan Sidodadi.
"The synergy among farmers group, the company, and cooperative is going well. It is hoped that it can improve the quality of life of residents around the mine," he said.
