Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the Banjarmasin Sanitation and Gardening Agency Mukhyar said, 50 heads of household who lived next to the final disposal (TPA) Basirih, South Banjarmasin, will immediately get the energy supply of biogas.
The 50 families now living in Handil Paluang. Biogas pipeline to their homes have already installed.
"In addition to scavenging, we do not want them just to get the smell alone, but also get other benefits produced by the landfill," he said.
What is still an obstacle, said Mukhyar, power is less that the blower is not operated to suck biogas for
distribution to people's homes.
He made sure has requested an increase in power to PLN from 400 kWh to 900 kWh, so that the suction blower of biogas energy can be maximized.
"If power energy added then biogas energy supply to people's homes could be optimal," he said.
Installation of biogas energy pipeline includes devices and preparation of special stoves in homes with the budget up to Rp200 million.
"Supply of biogas to be given free to citizens," he said.
