Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Traffic Unit Police now following up hit and run case which caused a student died.
"We follow up the case and continue collecting information to reveal who the perpetrators of hit and run with the victim died," said Chief of Traffic Police Henry Novinka Chandra SIK here on Thursday.
He said the police have done initial investigation (olah TKP) where the accident occurred and to determine the cause of the fatal accident which took the victim's life.
Police also have asked testimony of several people at the scene to determine the incidence where the perpetrator have fled.
The alleged hit-and-run occurred on Wednesday (18/3) night around 21:00 at Jalan Pangeran Hidayatullah, precisely on the bridge of Banua Anyar Banjarmasin.
By residents in the area, the victim was rushed to the Ansyari Saleh Hospital in North Banjarmasin to get medical treatment.
However, when on the way to the hospital, the victim died. The victim was a young woman who is expected status as a student from the colleges in the city.
Her name Nabila (20), resident of Jl Veteran Gang H Asmuni, East Banjarmasin. When a traffic accident, she was driving a Yamaha Fino motorcycle with plate number 6247 DA ABH.
