Residents of Candi Laras Utara (CLU) Sub-district, Tapin Regency, has granted their land for the benefit of the national road of Marabahan-Margasari.
Tapin District Secretary H Masyraniansyah said on Tuesday that he was proud of Margasari residents. They agreed that their land to be granted to the Hall of National Road of South Kalimantan for asphalting work.
"Next, we make a draft budget (RAB), hopefully the work can be auctioned in January and the realization in March," he explained.
Head of Tapin Public Works and Spatial (PUPR) Yustan Azidin said currently there is no obstacle in the project, the next is to carry out stages of activities in order the realization is quick.
"The standard width of the national road is 11 meter, but there may be varied if there is an elevation of road shoulder, depending on road condition," he said.
Meanwhile, a community leader of Candi Laras Utara (CLU) H. Yamani said that the road is for the public interest, not only for residents of Tapin, but the whole of South Kalimantan people.
"Just let it go and donate it as amal jariah (an everlasting charity). It can be for the people of Barabai, or Banjarmasin who pass by," said the Chairman of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of CLU, who is also the leader of Periuk Islamic Boarding School.
The condition of the road body has not been asphalted is currently very concerning, difficult to pass, as it has many holes and mud.
The remaining 5 km road has not been asphalted are in Sungai Puting Village and Margasari Ilir Village due to land acquisition constraints.
