The effort to realize environmentally-friendly schools or adiwiyata schools in Tabalong Regency has also received support from the private sector, one of which is PT Pamapersada Nusantara ADRO District through school infrastructure improvement to support the assessment.
PT Pamapersada Nusantara's CSR Manager Ono Karno said the company has so far fostered 15 adiwiyata schools together with the Tabalong Environment Office. Seven schools are newly fostered in 2020.
"This year we realize the CSR program to support adiwiyata school," he said.
Meanwhile, two schools under their guidance had won the national adiwiyata award, namely state junior high school SMPN 4 Murung Pudak and state high school SMAN 1 Tanta.
In the provincial level, eight of the fostered schools had won the adiwiyata certification, while the other five schools won the regency level certification.
