Six South Kalimantan Provincial Police personnel, who were members of Minusca Central Africa Formed Police Unit (FPU) and the Bhayangkara Task Force FPU Unamid Sudanese have returned to headquarters.

Their return was welcomed by the South Kalimantan Provincial Police Chief inspector General (Irjenpol) Nico Afinta together with Head of HR Bureau Sr Comr Ari Wahyu Widodo, Monday (Oct 26, 2020).

The Police Chief considered they have carried out the peace mission with full discipline, dedication, and motivation while on duty.

"Thank you and the highest appreciation for the dedication and achievements that have shown while serving in the Republic of Central Africa and receiving various awards,” he pointed out.

He advised them to immediately join their units to adjust themselves and improving professionalism and developing a culture of learning and training in their respective units.

“The success has been achieved is used as provision and experience in facing the increasing complexity of future tasks," he said.

One of the tasks, he continued, is an effort to discipline health protocol to the public as well as ourselves to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) and adapting the new habits (AKB).

"Stay healthy and adhere to health protocol,” said the police chief.
