Only three districts and one city in South Kalimantan reported an increase of positive cases, while eight other districts and one city have no fresh cases.
The province's Task Force for Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 data as of Monday, October 19, 2020 afternoon showed there were only seven new cases that came from three districts and one city.
Two new cases came from Kotabaru, two from Tapin, one from Central Hulu Sungai (HST), and twwo from Banjarmasin.
On the same day, 31 patients were declared cured. They were from Banjar District Quarantine 5, Tapin Quarantine 1, South Hulu Sungai (HSS) 2, HST 1, Balangan 19, and Banjarbaru City 3.
In total, the number of confirmed positive cases recorded in South Kalimantan was 11,446. As many as 10,086 of them had recovered, while 905 are under treatment both in the hospitals and quarantines.
The number of people who died was 455 and there are still 290 suspects of coronavirus disease.
Previously reported, the COVID-19 handling budget in South Kalimantan has been realized about Rp207 billion from the total budget ceiling of Rp233 billion.
"So there is still about Rp25 billion left over the projected by the end of this year," said Acting Governor Rudy Resnawan in Banjarmasin, Saturday.
