Batulicin Irigasi Village of the Tanah Bumbu District was inaugurated as the best Kampung Tangguh Banua (South Kalimantan's resilient village) in the provincial level competition.

The awarding ceremony for the best Kampung Tangguh Banua took place after the 75th Independence Day commemoration at the South Kalimantan Provincial government offices in Banjarbaru, Monday.

"Congratulation for the winner and continue to be a tough village (kampung tangguh) in all sectors to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission," South Kalimantan Provincial Police Chief Insp.Gen.Police Nico Afinta remarked.

Meanwhile, the second overall winner was Banyu Hirang Village of North Hulu Sungai District (HSU), and the third was Syamsudin Noor Urban Village, Banjarbaru City.

Nico said, the categories being assessed included resilience in the health sector with the assessment team Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) dr. Bambang Prasetya from South Kalimantan Provincial Police (Polda Kalsel) and Akhmad Mahyuni from the province Health Office.

Then resilience in the economy and food sector with Rudyannnor from the South Kalimantan Social Agency's Tagana (Disaster Response Team) and M. Rusli from the province's Plantation and Animal Husbandry Office.

While in the resilience of the security sector were First Sergeant (Sertu) Gusti Sidhasana from the Provincial Military Command (Korem) of 101/Antasari and Israjuddin from the Provincial National and Political Unity Office (Kesbangpol) as assessors.

The resilience in information and culture sector was assessed by Astuti Eriyanie from the Provincial Office of Communication and Informatics and Reza Ridani from Kesbangpol. Then Yudianor, Sri Gatun Mustaqiah, and Nur Aprina Sari from the province's Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) to assess coordination and administration.
