Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Minister Maman Abdurrahman asked the provincial government as well as district and city government to help and facilitate acces for disabled MSME for economic equality.
Maman was speaking after a discussion and heard various complaints and obstables from disabled business actors at the Mama Khas Banjar Shop in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Wednesday (June 18, 2025).
“Please, related agencies in the province and district/city, pay attention to disabled business actors. don't let them have difficulties selling their products,” said the Minister.

The disabled community took advantage of the momentum of Minister Maman's present at the Mama Khas Banjar Shop to convey their condition, which still having difficulty getting access, far from strategic sales center, lack of stall to promote their products, and other constraints.
“We will support but with a note, the products must be neat and good, must be delicious. Don't lose to other business actors' food products,” he said to the business actors.
After receiving their complaints, Minister Maman called acting Mayor of Banjarbaru and Head of South Kalimantan Cooperative, Small and Medium Business Office.
He asked the regional head and related local agencies to accomodate the obstacles faced by MSMEs from disabled community, so that the economic growth of MSME actors is evenly felt by the community without exception.
After a discussion, the local government stated their readiness to facilitate them. As a start, they are provided with access to strategic sales place at Kalsel Expo and Banjarbaru Expo to be held in the near future. Here, hundreds of MSME products will be displayed.
Maman also asked the local government to actively involve disabled MSMEs actors in various activities related to promotion of MSMEs' products.
