Deputy Regent of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Berry Nahdian Forqan symbolically handed over the Phase 1 District Budget's direct cash assistance (BLT-APBD) to 1.305 residents of Barabai Sub-district, Wednesday (August 12, 2020).
He apologized to all the beneficiary families (KPM) in the district for being late in distributting various type of assistance.
According to vice regent, the delay was not without reason, but the local government had to carry out the correct data collection and distribution process so as to prevent mistakes. Any mistakes have the potential to cause chaos among people.
"This assistance is one of the government efforts in the handling of corona pandemic, namely by providing social safety net in the form of BLT," he pointed out.
He hopes that the funds of Rp600 thousand per month for three months to be used for all purpose during the corona outbreak.
