The South Kalimantan Task Force for the Mitigation Acceleration and Control of COVID-19 has so far distributed 6.260 of the total 7.200 rapid test equipment it has.
Spokesman of the task force HM Muslim here on Saturday (May 2, 2020) said, of the 6.260 rapid test, 3.827 of which had been reported and 616 were reactive.
"About 16.10 percent of the results of the rapid test we have distributed was reactive," he said.
Until Friday afternoon, Muslim revealed, COVID-19 case in the province has reached 179, and 24 of whom were recovered, 10 died, and the rest are being treated in hospitals or undergoing independent isolation or special quarantine.
The results of the team's analysis based on incoming data, about 74 percent of COVID-19 sufferers are male and the rest are female. Then from the positive case, 58,60 percent came from Gowa cluster, South Sulawesi, 13,7 percent from people traveling from West Java. The rest from other clusters, namely 1,5 percent from Central Kalimantan and 26 percent more from other contacts.
Muslim said, the rapid increase of the positive case in South Kalimantan, two of which due to the team was active in tracing and the speed of specimen test results can now be carried out within the province. Previously, specimen results had to be sent to Jakarta or other provinces, then the results tended to be a long time.
"It was previously had to be several weeks only 66 specimens could be tested, but now in four weeks 906 specimen had tested, which means there was an acceleration 6-7 times compared to when tested in Jakarta," he said.

Muslim also revealed that the surveillance officers in the filed have identified as many as 3.529 people suspected of having close contact with positive cases from various existing clusters.
Of the 3.529 people identified, he said, the team was able to trace and found 2.306 people, to be further handled. The team will continue on tracing and conducting test until they soon can separate the healthy and positive.
Muslim asked people who felt they had made contact with confirmed positive patients to immediately report themselves to be treated.
