Entering the fifth days of their quarantine in Natuna, Riau Islands, the condition of students from Tabalong District remained in good health and not indicated by coronavirus.
Four of the six residents of Tabalong who are undergoing quarantine are students of the faculty of medicine in Wuhan, China.
Of the students, Resda, an alumnus of senior high school SMAN 1 Muara Uya, said she and her colleague were still in barrack with a capacity of 25 people.
"We have been five days joining the quarantine with hundreds of other Indonesian citizens," Resda said.
Previously, President Joko Widodo revealed that 243 Indonesian evacuated from the central Chinese city of Wuhan are in good health, but they continue to be under observation in line with the international health protocol.
"The observation (is needed) until they are really declared clear and deemed fit to return to their respective families. That is the health protocol we must follow," he stated in Sukajaya, Bogor District, West Java Province, on Monday.
The 243 Indonesians comprised 238 Indonesians, who had earlier stayed in China, and five members of an advance team.
Resda and her three collegues, Felicia (SMAN Muara Uya), Monika Candra (Kelua) and Satria Niken were attended the Indonesia-chinese Culture Centre (ITCC) scholarship program.
Resda and her friends have been learning for three years at the faculty of medicine in Wuhan at the cost of the Tabalong District Government through ITCC program.
"During quarantine all needs are met and we can communicate with families in Tabalong," Resda told.
She hoped she and all Indonesian citizens who are in quaratine in Natuna to return home soon, as they are not infected with the coronavirus.
"Alhamdulilah (Thank God) I and friends are still given health," Resda said.
Even though they are all not indicated with the virus during quarantine, but they still wear face mask.
