ULM's Faculty of Medicine wins third in Spora 2018

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Medical Faculty students of Lambung Mangkurat University (FK ULM) have again made achievements at the national event. At the 2018 Scientific Project and Olympiad of Sriwijaya (Spora) they won third place.

"FK ULM was represented by F Agmard Marampa and Rasyid Riddo who won third place," said Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and FK ULM Alumni Dr. Edyson.

ULM students only lost to Airlangga University (Unair) Surabaya which was ranked first and the University of Indonesia in second place in the event held by the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Sriwijaya University (Unsri) in Palembang on September 28-30.

The FK ULM participated for the first time this year and only took part in one of the five branches competed, namely medical competition.

According to Edyson, these national achievements were not easily achieved. It was through rigorous selection in faculties, systematic and organized coaching.

Spora 2018 is the 6th and is the final year of the national level because the plan next year will be an international event.

Previously FK-ULM students won three championships at the Islamic Medical Scientific Festival (IMSF) at the Indonesia Islamic University (UII) Yogyakarta on September 20-23 2018.
