Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Mayor H Ibnu Sina visited the Antasari State Islamic University (UIN) students who suffered from food poisoning and being treated in Bhayangkara Hospital on Tuesday.
A total of 21 students were rushed to Bhayangkara Hospital for alleged food poisoning, which they ate Monday night in a student dormitory.
According to Ibnu Sina, the students have been treated well, until most have been in stable condition.
"This is a possible accidental incident, it used to be our assumption, from the testimony of the doctors the students have been handled, all are in stable condition," he said.
Nevertheless, he said, the city government through the Health Agency will continue to monitor the students, until they completely are healthy.
"We thank Bhayangkara Hospital for its care for the students, hope this poisoning event in this city is the last one because it is not cool at all," he said with a laugh.
Previously reported, tens of UIN Antasari student allegedly poisoned after eating food at the Female Dorm Mahad Al-Jamiah.
Head of the City's Crime Detective Police First Insp (Iptu) H Timur Yono here said the poisoning event was known on Tuesday at around 11.30 am, after dozens of victims were taken to Bhayangkara Hospital.
"The victim initially ate food on Monday (22/1) night after Shalat Isya after memorizing the activities of the Quran held in their dorm," said Timur.
