"We deeply appreciate the existence of KRI Banjarmasin which has brought the name of the regional scent in every task," said Ibnu Sina here, Monday.
Mayor was speaking to reporters upon welcoming KRI Banjarmasin at Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin on Monday afternoon.
According to him, the Navy warship is now the pride of Banjarmasin people in particular, and South Kalimantan in general.
"We are all citizens of Banua South Kalimantan always pray for KRI Banjarmasin successfully continue in its task of sailing and the name of this city will always be brought to the entire world," said Ibnu Sina.
While Commander of Banjarmasin Naval Base (Danlanal) Col.(P) Oky I.Z. Dipura invited the whole community to flock to visit KRI Banjarmasin during the dock at Trisakti.
"Take advantage of the stop by KRI Banjarmasin to get closer to this big ship of the navy, because the ship will open ship until Wednesday before sailing again," said Danlanal.
