Batulicin Immigration receives corruption-free areas title

Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Batulicin Immigration Office in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, won the title of corruption-free areas (WBK) from the State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Ministry.

"This is a prestigious award awarded to a public service unit that is able to meet various strict indicators in creating clean, transparent, and accountable governance," said Head of Batulicin Immigration Office Ferizal here on Monday.

He said the Batulicin Immigration Office has not only met the best public service standards but also free from corruption practices.

The award was received by Minister and Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections at the Pengayoman Indonesia Polytechnic Campus on Jalan Satria-Sudirman Tanah Tinggi, Tangerang City, Banten.

Of all services units in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights' South Kalimantan Office only three won the WBK this year, one of them was Batulicin Immigration. This achievement has stengthened its position as a pioneer of bureaucratic reform at the regional level.

Ferizal expressed his pride for the achievement as this was the results of the hard work of all levels of Batulicin Immigration in carrying out bureaucratic reform consistently.

"This is a real proof and our commitment to provide clean, transparent, and integrity services to the public. This is a mandate that we must continue to maintain and improve," said Ferizal.

He also pointed out that WBK's achievement was not the end of the journey. According to him, this is the first step towards a higher target, clean and serving bureaucratic areas (WBBM).

He hopes that this award can be a motivation for all levels to continue to innovate and improve the quality of services, so that the Batulicin Immigration can be an example for other public service units in Indonesia.
