Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent H Sayed Jafar urged all parties to care about growth and development of children, so that Kotabaru will have a healthy, moral, accomplished, and loving country next generation.
"The 2024 National Children's Day (HAN) is a momentum that should not be missed. It is a special day for all Indonesian children as well as a means to arouse our concern and participation in fulfilling children's rights and protection so they can grow and develop optimally," said the Regent when attended HAN commemoration with PAUD Mother Hj Fatma Idiana.
"I ask education institutions to always improve professionalism, provide the best services, encourage students through play and learning activities that can develop and mobilize all their potential," he said in press release, Wednesday (August 7, 2024).

The Kotabaru Mother of early childhood education (PAUD) Hj Fatma Idiana said HAN is a momentum to invite all component of Indonesian nation, especialy peole in Kotabaru, both parents, families, communities, business and government, to carry out their obligation and responsibilities.
"Make efforts to protect and realize welfare of children, and provide guarantees for the fulfillment of their rights," she said.
"This is to arouse concern and participation of all component of this nation in ensuring the fulfillment of children's rights to live, grow, and participate naturally, and to be protected from violence and discrimination," said Head of Kotabaru Education Office Slamet Riyadi.
HAN celebration in Kotabaru was attended by about 1,000 children, 900 of them are PAUD children from the sub-districts of Pulau Laut Utara, Sigam, Pulau Laut Timur and Pulau Laut Tengah, 50 elementary school children and 50 children from junior hight schools.
