Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) awarded the Satya Lencana Karya Satya (Badge of Allegiance) 30 Years to Kotabaru Regional Secretary H Said Akhmad and three officials within the Kotabaru District Government on the 79th anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
Kotabaru Secretary H Said Akhmad said he was grateful for the honorary Satya Lencana award given by the President of Indonesia Jokowi.
"Hopefully this will increase enthusiasm in serving as a state civil apparatus even though we are approaching retirement," said the secretary in a press statement here on Monday.

He hopes that the civil servants (PNS) in Kotabaru to work hard with full loyalty and devotion, struggle for the community and regional progress and be able to serve their period of service well.
Three other officials who also received the same honor were Assistant fo Government and People's Welfare H Minggu Basuki, Head of Environment Office H Muhammad Maulidiansyah, and Head of Health Office Erwin Simanjuntak.
The Satya Lencana were embedded on the moment of the 79th Independence Day anniversary commemoration by the Regent of Kotabaru Sayed Jafar at the courtyard of the Regent's Office in Sebelimbingan on August 17, 2024.
Satya Lencana Karya Satya is a badge of loyalty in service, duties and so on.
Kotabaru Regent H Sayed Jafar was accompanied by Deputy Regent Andi Rudi Latif when embedding the prestigious award to the four senior civil servants.
