Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Community Police Partnership Forum (FKPM) of Teluk Tiram Village fully supports the program of the Banjarmasin City Police creating a kampung aman (safe village) in the local sub-district.
"We support the program that society should be able to maintain security and re-enact self-security," said FKPM Chairman H Bambang here on Monday.
Kampung aman means the neighborhood safe either from crime or narcotics. It is intended that the local people aware of the law and not to do anything that violate the rule of law.
He also said that with the creation of the kampung aman local communities have skill to prevent any disruption of security and public order.
Not only that, with their safe villages program that involves all elements, both the police, government and the community, later small problems can be solved directly amicably.
Thus, before entering the law, the matter resolved first through deliberations at the village.
He said that, as RW01-RT02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10 and 11 declared as the kampung aman, then self-security system swakarsa must be improved, such as siskamling, as a means of securing the people who made the police in himself.
"I hope with the village safe from crime and drugs can make people aware of the rule of law and the program for the first time in South Kalimantan," he said.
