"The purpose of my arrival here is to listen directly to Pulau Sembilan community from heart to heart," said regent in the midst of people in the Sub-district of Pulau Sembilan on Wednesday.
Sayed Jafar explained, the purpose of the working visit to the sub-districts which bordering the province of East Java, is to hear directly the situation and condition here as well as to hold direct dialogue with the people of Pulau Sembilan .
A member of South Kalimantan Legislative Council (DPRD) Santiansyah, who joined the entourage of the regent, adding that the working visit to Pulau Sembilan is no other than to release of miss people of Pulau Sembilan.
"We also wanted to oversee development in the area, as well as the people's aspirations for accelerating development of Pulau Sembilan," he said.
The regent's entourage included members of the Provincial DPRD, leaders of work units (SKPD) joint coordination forum of regional leaders (Forkominda) of Kotabaru. They used speedboat to reach the Pulau Sembilan took approximately six hour cruise.
