Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Indonesian Pharmacist Association (IAI) Branch Tabalong educating the public to the use of antibiotics in order to use in appropriate general guidelines.
Secretary of the IAI Branch Tabalong Setiawan Andri Wibowo in Tanjung Thursday explaining the most northern district in South Kalimantan became pilot area in Indonesia for Pharmacist Care Antibiotic Resistance Movement or Jagareksa Antibiotik.
"Through this program people get education regarding the use of antibiotics to minimize the occurrence of antibiotic resistance and Tabalong is the only pilot area of this movement," said Setiawan.
Education or counseling by IAI Tabalong in cooperation with the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) and Health Care and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan). Among activities carried out were health consultation, blood donor to consult a pharmacist.
"Previously IAI branch Tabalong conducted training with the theme of "Low Cost Hight Quality in the era of National Health Insurance" by inviting speakers from IDI South Kalimantan and Tabalong," added Setiawan.
The event was held at the same time supporting Tabalong Priority Development Program in Health by providing cheap but with quality health care.
