Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Energy Tbk through its subsidiary Adaro Indonesia won three platinum awards in the Indonesia Sustainable Development Goals Award (ISDA) 2021 held in Jakarta, Friday.
The three platinum awards are in the category of corporation (mining water for sustainability), CSR program (community-based total sanitation), and 2nd best Special Award for Local Hero Istana Kelulut on behalf of Maskuni.
The award was bestowed for the company's commitment to always care about the environment and surrounding communities through the CSR program.
“The 2021 ISDA award is an additional energy for a better, more broad-impacted, and innovative CSR program," said Okty Damayanti, divisional head CSR of Adaro Energy.
She said the appreciation is not only for Adaro but is dedicated to local heroes, simples figures, part of the community who struggle with Adaro in the field.
ISDA 2021 is the 4th since its first event in 2016. The annual event is organized by the Corporate Forum for Community Development (CFCD) in cooperation with the National Development Planning Ministry/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), other technical ministries, and international institutions such as ISO SGN Austria.
ISDA is an appreciation for corporations that have run their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and contributed to the achievement of 17 points of the SDGs.

Chairman of CFCD Indonesia Thendri Supriatno said that the event was a culmination of many activities ranging from corporate education to inviting all elements to jointly accelerate the goal of sustainable development.
“Through this activity, we invite corporations to work hand in hand to realize sustainable development in Indonesia,” he said.
Thendri appreciated all the winning companies for initiatives and hard work given so far to the development.
