Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Tanah Laut COVID-19 Task Force turned back two tour buses from outside the district on their way to the tourist attraction, Saturday (August 28, 2021).
The Task Force consisted of the Public Order and Fire Brigade Agency (Satpol PP dan Damkar), the Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Transportation Agency, Tanah Laut Police, and the District Military Command of 1009/TLa.
Head of Satpol PP Muhammad Kusri led the activities to disperse many tourists both local and outside who were on tour.
He said most tourists who visited Batakan Baru Beach attraction equivocated that they did not know about the level 4 public activity restriction (PPKM) being implemented in Tanah Laut.
In fact, he said, the banner of notification for the closure of tourist attractions has been installed at the location during the PPKM.
“The fact is that many people have a vacation here, including tourists from outside Tanah Laut who want to have a tour in Batakan Baru Beach. We asked the visitors to immediately disperse and return to their home or respective areas,” he said.
Muhammad Kusri said that there will be an increase in supervision from both the sub-district task force and the village task force regarding the entry and exit of tourists.
