One of school forest managers, Aida Mahfuzah, in Tanjung, the capital of Tabalong, on Thursday said schools forest as part of efforts to conserve the environment and part of the green campaign conducted SMA Negeri 1 Tanta.

From organic agricultural products sold to buyers in the school surrounding and neighbours, SMA Negeri 1 Tanta can build a fish pond independently.
In the school forest, which was built since 2013, a variety of forest plants and local fruits developed, it also can be used in the learning activities for students.
For the development of the school forest, SMA Negeri 1, who previously received funding from the Yayasan Adaro Bangun Negeri (YABN) in the form of curriculum development activities and the implementation of environmentally sound, now planning to work with PT Pertamina EP V Field Asset Tanjung for the seeds of fruit crops in order to enrich in the school forest.
