Marabahan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - COVID-19 case in Barito Kuala (Batola) District, South Kalimantan on Sunday (Feb 21, 2021) shows an encouraging development with eight patients recovering and no additional positive cases.
“Today there is no additional positive patient. While the data on recovery (increased) by eight,” said Batola government spokesperson for COVID-19 Task Force dr Hj Azizah Sri Widari in Marabahan, Sunday.

Eight patients recovered were five people came from Rantau Badauh Sub-district, the other three were from Marabahan, Alalak, and Anjir Pasar.
“Five patients recovered from Rantau Badauh are one man (47 years) and four women (aged 29 years, 54 years, 26 years, and 21 years),” said Azizah.
All of them were previously under the surveillance of the local sub-district COVID-19 team.
While three others were all women from Marabahan (62 years), Alalak (44 years), and Anjir Pasar (66 years). They previously were treated at the hospitals and one in SKB Marabahan.
Azizah, who is also the head of the Health Agency, said the total confirmed cases in Bumi Ije Jela (Batola's nickname) currently is 1,318 consisting of 1,149 patients recovered (87.18 percent), 15 died (1.14 percent), and 154 active cases (11.68 percent).
In addition, she said, there are 12 suspect cases and 105 close contacts.
