Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry was bestowed the Top Public Relations (PR) Award from Iconomics Research and Consulting as a token of appreciation to its official, who played a role in the institution's PR.
The Iconomics Indonesia PR Person Award 2020 was handed over to Agung Pribadi, chief of the ministry's communication, public relations, and cooperation bureau, at an event held in Jakarta on Friday night.
The award was presented to a public relations officer to reflect the picture or face of his institution.
In times of crisis, the capability of the institution's spearhead to disseminate policies and programs is praiseworthy.
Public relations officers must also be more agile and adaptive during the COVID-19 pandemic that has led to several jobs being conducted online.
The recipient for the PR Person Award 2020 was selected from among 40 PR officers from companies, ministries, institutions, and organizations based on the criteria set by Iconomics Research.
"The selection criteria was based on the three aspects of exposure, influence, and creativity," Iconomics Founder & CEO Bram S. Putro remarked.
Exposure means being well-known by the media and public. Influence means having an impact in forming public opinion and the media's thoughts and creativity means having dynamic and creative approaches in realizing the institution's communication.
