Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Kotabaru Regent H Sayed Jafar accompanied by Chair of Driving Team of Family Welfare Empowerment Program (TP PKK) Hj Fatma Idiana inaugurated Siwalk Food Court, people's hawker center, with a modern concept to complement the Siring Laut tourist destination, Saturday.
Sayed Jafar's commitment to lead Kotabaru is by promoting three leading sectors in the development of the district, namely infrastructure, agribusiness, and tourism.
Siwalk Food Court, was built with a fund of IDR1 billion. The facility, measuring 7.2x60 meter, is contiguous with the counters of multiple food vendors. Regent expected it to attract tourists, both local and foreign tourists to come to Kotabaru.
“We are very proud of the construction of the Siwalk Food Court in Siring Laut. It means people can visit with their families to enjoy culinary at affordable prices,” said H Sayed Jafar.
He hopes that the food court will support the economy of the people, especially culinary traders, and will contribute to local income.
