Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Students of Public Health of the Lambung Mangkurat University's Faculty of Medicine (PSKM FK-ULM) have created an innovative online dictionary called ”E-Dictionary Application for Health Policy Administration Student.”
Zuhrufa, the team leader of the Student Creativity Program for Entrepreneurship (PKM-K) hopes this app is useful for all groups, such as academics, health activists, and students.
“This app really helps us to make it easier to search for terms quickly and precisely regarding AKK (Health Policy Administration),” Zuhrufa said in Banjarbaru Thursday (Sept 10, 2020).
Mentor and lecturer at the PSKM FK ULM, Fauzie Rahman SKM MPH, said this app is very easy to use.
“It works quite simple, a user only needs to enter the word term they want to search,” he said. Within seconds, the meaning of the term appears bilingual, Indonesian, and English.
Prof Dr dr Syamsul Arifin, a professor of Health Policy Administration at FK-ULM, said that this dictionary can be used as the main reference to understand various terms.
The dictionary also received appreciation from the Chair of Health Policy Administration College Dr Ede Suryadarmawan BSc PH MDM. “For practitioners, this dictionary can be a refresher and reference that makes work easier,” he said.

The six students were Zuhrufa Wanna Yolanda (class 2017), Riana (2019), Muhammad Naufal Hibatullah (2019), Ananda Ersiannisa Fadiah (Computer Science Program of FMIPA 2019) and Qusnul Aqidatul Izzah (Indonesian Language and Literature of FKIP 2018).
The Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Directorate General of Higher Education, through Student Creativity Program in Entrepreneurship (PKM-K) also provided support with funding. Thank to the support from the study program and supporting lecturer, they finally created the app.
This app can be downloaded from play store or you can also order the printed dictionary via instagram @edictionarypkm or via shoppe. In the future, this app will be further developed to increase the vocabulary and adds with other interesting features.
