Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The largest telecommunication operator PT Telkomsel has provided assistance in the form of free access to CloudX Conference for three months for 21 high schools in Kalimantan.
"The present of CloudX Conference member service is very helpful for the distance learning process and online interaction activities," Vice President of Consumer Sales Area for Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, Kalimantan (Pamasuka) Agustiyono noted in a press release via Whatsapp, Thursday.
He said Telkomsel is committed to continue to be proactive in taking part in mutual cooperation effort to continue moving forward with the government and all elements of the community in dealing with the national emergency situation of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.
Telkomsel is also committed to continuing to support the education process throughout the country, including Kalimantan, to the border areas, especially in the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Agustiyono added, as a leading digital telco company, the company realizes that the implementation of digital technology utilization could provide solutions according to the Indonesia government's policy regarding the implementation of work from home and learn from home where and whenever during this pandemic.
For this reason, Telkomsel strives for all activities to continue to run effectively and efficiently while working from home through CloudX service.
At present, in the Kalimantan area, there are 22 campuses and 52 schools have enjoyed the experience of using the Telkomsel's CloudX.
The number will continue to grow along with the ongoing of process of other campuses and schools. It showed a very positive response to the use of CloudX service for Telkomsel customers in Kalimantan.
